The images in this collection are representative of a journey begun almost five years ago. Within that span of time, major life shifts have occurred. A new life begins, while another ends. Spaces recorded in these images no longer exist. Walls are painted, doors are locked, buildings demolished. They exist only here in this work. Photography is unique as an art form, in it's ability to separate one moment from another, and leave a lasting record of the moment.

A sense of mystery, and sexual tension, are important elements in my work. The combination of a vintage look, and contemporary subject matter, has added new dimensions to these images. I view this work as a collaboration. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for the trust and support of these men and women who, believing in my vision, came along for the ride.

"When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative and acting like the most gigantic idiot on Earth. So what the hell, leap."
